Mohali :
Congress MP from Chandigarh and former Union Minister Manish Tewari actively campaigned in various wards of Mohali in support of party candidates for the upcoming Municipal Corporation elections.
During his campaign in Ward No. 3, supporting candidate Jaspreet Kaur, Tewari said the Congress party is capable of completing the pending development works in the city. He added that during his tenure as MP from Sri Anandpur Sahib, he had ensured adequate funds for Mohali’s development.
In Ward No. 44, while campaigning for candidate Amandeep Singh Slach, Tewari described him as an honest and hardworking leader committed to addressing local development needs. He urged residents to vote for Congress candidates to ensure faster and more effective development of the city.
Several local leaders, including Manjeet Singh Mansa, Raja Kanwarjot Singh, Harpreet Bunty, and Shekinder Singh Ladi, were also present during the campaign events.
