On the occasion of World Environment Day, BJP Mandal-2 organized a plantation drive to promote environmental conservation and a cleaner, greener environment. The initiative saw enthusiastic participation from party workers and local residents.
The drive was led by Mandal President Raman Kumar along with BJP leaders Deepak Puri, Pankaj Sahdev, Hemant, Vishal Sharda, and Sanjay Gautam, who planted saplings during the event. They also appealed to citizens to actively contribute towards environmental protection by planting and caring for trees.
Speaking on the occasion, the leaders said tree plantation is essential for maintaining ecological balance, reducing pollution, and ensuring a healthy future for coming generations. They urged people to adopt environmental conservation as part of their daily lives.
The BJP Mandal-2 team collectively participated in the campaign and emphasized the importance of proper care and maintenance of saplings to ensure their healthy growth.
The programme concluded with a pledge to work towards a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable environment.
