MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa today carried out a surprise inspection of the Tehsil Complex, Patwarkhana and Seva Kendra to review the functioning of government offices and assess the quality of services being provided to the public.
During the visit, Randhawa inspected various sections of the offices and held discussions with officials regarding the delivery of public services. He also interacted with citizens present at the premises to understand their concerns, gather feedback and assess whether government services were being provided efficiently and without delay.
The MLA directed the concerned officials to ensure that all public works are completed in a transparent, time-bound and hassle-free manner. He emphasized that people visiting government offices should not face unnecessary delays or difficulties and that their grievances and applications should be addressed promptly and effectively.
Randhawa said government employees must remain responsive to the needs of citizens and work with a sense of accountability and responsibility. He instructed officials to deal with public-interest matters with greater sensitivity and to ensure that citizens receive the benefits of government services without any inconvenience.
Seeking direct feedback from visitors, the MLA inquired about the quality of services being provided at the Tehsil Complex and Service Centre. He assured people that their concerns would be addressed and that steps would be taken to further improve administrative efficiency.
Highlighting the Punjab Government’s commitment to good governance, Randhawa said the state administration is focused on making public services more accessible, transparent and citizen-friendly. He added that surprise inspections and field visits would continue in the future to monitor the performance of government offices and ensure better service delivery for the people.
The inspection was aimed at strengthening accountability in government departments and ensuring that citizens receive prompt and efficient administrative services at the grassroots level.
