Grand Kalash Yatra Marks Beginning of Shrimad Bhagwat Katha

A grand Kalash Yatra was taken out with great devotion, enthusiasm and religious fervour on Friday ahead of the commencement of the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha at Sadhu Nagar, Gali No. 7, Dera Bassi. The spiritual procession witnessed the participation of a large number of women, young girls, children and devotees, creating a deeply devotional atmosphere across the area.The Kalash Yatra began with traditional religious rituals and prayers. Women dressed in traditional attire carried sacred Kalash pots on their heads while chanting bhajans, “Jai Shri Krishna” slogans and other religious hymns. Accompanied by devotional music and bands, the procession passed through various streets of the locality. Residents welcomed the yatra at several places by showering flower petals on the devotees.Organisers informed that the seven-day Shrimad Bhagwat Katha is being held from June 12 to June 18 at Sadhu Nagar, Gali No. 7. During the event, devotees will get an opportunity to listen to the sacred teachings of the Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran and seek spiritual blessings.

The religious discourse will be delivered by Brahmadev Peethadheeshwar Shri Shri Prem Murti Ji Maharaj, who has arrived from Vrindavan. Through his sermons, devotees will hear about the divine life and teachings of Lord Krishna, along with messages on devotion, righteousness, moral values and ideal human conduct.
The organisers said the event aims to spread spiritual awareness and promote positive values in society. The main organisers include Anita Rajput and her son Ravi Rajput, Sapna Mehta, Sudhir Mehta, Puneet Gupta, Virender Chauhan, Monica Sharma and several other devotees.
Following the successful Kalash Yatra, a strong sense of faith and religious enthusiasm was visible throughout the Sadhu Nagar area. Devotees expressed excitement and anticipation for the week-long spiritual gathering.
