Municipal Councillor Arvinder Kaur was felicitated by the Management Committee of Madanpur Gurdwara Sahib during a Shaheedi Samagam organised in Mohali, in recognition of her contribution towards public service, civic development, and welfare initiatives for residents.
The honour was conferred in the presence of members of the gurdwara management committee, religious leaders, and a large congregation of devotees who had gathered for the religious event. The committee appreciated her continued efforts in addressing local civic issues, supporting development-related works, and remaining actively involved in community welfare programmes.
Speakers at the event highlighted that such recognition is given to individuals who have shown consistent dedication towards social service and public welfare. They also acknowledged the importance of community representatives working closely with residents to resolve everyday issues and improve local infrastructure.
Expressing her gratitude, Councillor Arvinder Kaur thanked the management committee, the Sangat, and all respected members present at the occasion for their encouragement and blessings. She said that the respect and support received from the community further motivates her to serve with greater sincerity and commitment.
She added that public service is both a responsibility and a privilege, and reaffirmed her dedication to working for the welfare of residents in her area. “With the blessings of Waheguru Ji and the support of the Sangat, I will continue to serve society with humility, honesty, and devotion,” she said.
Members of the management committee also congratulated her and praised her efforts towards social upliftment and development work in the region. The event concluded with ardas for peace, prosperity, and the continued progress and harmony of society.
