MLA Randhawa Distributes Ownership Certificates to 954 Families

Dera Bassi :

MLA Sardar Kuljit Singh Randhawa today interacted with residents during public outreach (Jan Milni) programmes held in the villages of Togapur, Tofapur, Agapur and Ballopur in the Lalru area. He listened to public grievances and directed officials of the concerned departments to ensure their prompt resolution.
Addressing the gatherings, Randhawa said the Punjab Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Sardar Bhagwant Singh Mann, is committed to delivering transparent, accountable and people-centric governance. He said development works are being carried out across the state without discrimination and the government remains dedicated to fulfilling every promise made to the people.
He also informed villagers about ongoing development initiatives and welfare schemes in the areas of education, healthcare, electricity, roads, sewerage and other public services, urging them to take maximum advantage of government programmes.
During the event, ownership certificates under the Lal Lakir Scheme were distributed to 954 families, including 637 families from Ballopur and 317 families from Agapur. Randhawa said the scheme grants legal ownership rights to families who have been residing in their homes for years, resolving a long-pending issue and providing significant relief to thousands of households.
He added that the Punjab Government’s objective is to ensure that every eligible family receives its rightful benefits and that development and welfare schemes reach the last person in society.
A large number of villagers appreciated the Punjab Government’s public welfare policies and development initiatives during the Jan Milni programme. Officials from various departments, Aam Aadmi Party functionaries, panchayat representatives and local residents were also present on the occasion.
