In accordance with the directions of the Director, Health and Family Welfare Department, Punjab, and under the guidance of Civil Surgeon SAS Nagar, Dr. Sangeeta Jain, a visit was conducted to JP Hospital to accelerate the effective implementation of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) in the district.
During the visit, District Programme Manager Rajeev Chaudhary, District DMEU Officer Dharam Das, and HMS Coordinator Vivek Bhagat reviewed the technical and administrative aspects of ABDM implementation at the hospital. As part of the inspection, the hospital’s Sandbox Registration process was successfully completed, marking an important milestone in its digital healthcare integration.
The officials encouraged the hospital management to actively adopt digital health services under ABDM, including ABHA (Ayushman Bharat Health Account) IDs, Digital Health Records, and other digital healthcare facilities. They said that the adoption of these services will enable patients to receive faster, more transparent, and improved healthcare while strengthening the overall digital health ecosystem.
