Under the Punjab government’s Chief Minister Pilgrimage Scheme, MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa today flagged off three buses from the Derabassi constituency to take devotees to various holy pilgrimage sites.
The 121st bus was flagged off from Bair Majra, the 122nd from Togapur and the 123rd from Agapur. Devotees gathered in large numbers and expressed enthusiasm over the opportunity to visit the holy places through the government’s initiative.
Randhawa extended his best wishes to all the devotees for a safe and successful journey. He urged them to pray for the welfare of everyone, along with the progress, prosperity and well-being of Punjab.
Randhawa said the Chief Minister Pilgrimage Scheme is an important initiative, particularly for people above 50 years of age, who are unable to undertake pilgrimages on their own due to various reasons.
