Vedic Ceremony Concludes at Mohali Ashram Amid Spiritual Fervor and Divine Chants

THE AMAN SANDESH TIMES

Mohali :

A grand and spiritually charged Vedic ceremony was held at the Shri Amriteshwar Mahadev Temple Ashram in Mohali, attracting Vedic scholars, priests, and devotees from across the Tricity region (Chandigarh, Mohali, and Panchkula). The event was graced by the revered Trikaldarshi saint, Param Pujya Shri Shri 108 Taponishta Agnihotri Purnanand Maharaj, whose divine presence filled the ashram with spiritual energy and Vedic vibrations.

The collective chanting of Vedic hymns and praises to Lord Shiva by scholars and priests created a serene and powerful atmosphere in the ashram premises. A special Brahmin feast (Brahman Bhoj) was also organized, where numerous priests and devotees participated with devotion.

During the event, Shri Purnanand Maharaj honored the participating scholars with traditional Vedic accolades, including Angavastra (sacred cloth) and Mahaprasad. In his address, Sampoornanand Brahmachari Maharaj emphasized that a Brahmin is not just an individual, but a bearer of cosmic balance. He stated, “When acharyas unite, Dharma awakens.”

The ceremony saw the presence of several social workers, cultural enthusiasts, and administrative officials from the region, reflecting the community’s collective reverence for Sanatan Dharma. The central objective of the event was to reinstate the dignity of the Brahmin community — a core pillar of the Sanatan tradition — and to strengthen the bond between spirituality, culture, and society.

Devotees described the gathering as a sacred spiritual confluence and expressed their desire for such Vedic events to be held regularly, calling it a foundational step toward reviving inspiring traditions in the domain of Dharma.
