The NHPC Regional Office, Chandigarh, is celebrating National Sports Day from August 29 to 31, 2024, under the guidance of Executive Director Aditya Gautam.
As part of the program, employees took the “Fit India Pledge” today, emphasizing the importance of adopting an active and healthy lifestyle.
Speaking on the occasion, Aditya Gautam highlighted that National Sports Day is celebrated every year on August 29, marking the birth anniversary of legendary hockey player Major Dhyan Chand. He added that the day not only honors sporting icons but also inspires others to remain fit and pursue sportsmanship in their lives.
