MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa flagged off the fifth bus of devotees under the Chief Minister’s Teerth Yatra Scheme from village Haripur Hinduan on Thursday, after offering prayers for a safe journey.
The pilgrims are visiting Sri Harmandir Sahib and other religious places. Randhawa said the Punjab Government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, is fulfilling its promises and enabling people—especially the elderly—to undertake free pilgrimage despite financial constraints.
He stated that the government has made complete arrangements for travel, meals and accommodation to ensure a comfortable and safe journey. The pilgrims expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for providing the opportunity for free religious travel.
