Continuing her academic excellence, Disha, a student of Ambedkar Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS), Mohali, has secured the first position in the MBBS course across Punjab under Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) in the MBBS-2021 batch results declared on Tuesday.
Disha achieved an impressive 77.44% marks in her four-year academic performance, emerging as the university topper and maintaining consistent excellence throughout her MBBS journey.
Consistent academic performer
Officials said Disha secured the top position in the university for four consecutive years, marking a rare academic achievement and bringing pride to her institution.
Expressing happiness over her result, Disha credited her success to the guidance and support of her parents and teachers, saying their encouragement helped her stay focused and motivated.
Inspiring journey
A first-generation doctor in her family, Disha aspires to become a paediatrician and serve children, fulfilling her long-standing career goal in medicine.
Her father, Deepak Kumar, serves as a Director in the Bureau of Indian Standards, while her brother Yash is pursuing a PhD in Pharmacy.
