Mohali :
Senior BJP leader Abha Bansal said that Punjab’s political landscape is changing rapidly and the Bharatiya Janata Party is steadily emerging as a strong alternative in the state.
Referring to the political developments of recent years, Ms.Bansal noted that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which currently governs Punjab, had a limited presence in the 2021 municipal elections, winning only a small number of seats across the state. “Yet within a year, AAP formed the government in Punjab. This shows that public sentiment can bring about dramatic political change in a short span of time,” she said.
Bansal stated that the BJP is continuously expanding its grassroots network and gaining support among youth, women, traders, industrialists, and professionals. She emphasized that the party’s focus on development, employment, industrial growth, and good governance is resonating with the people of Punjab.
Expressing confidence in the party’s future, she said, “The BJP’s support base is growing steadily across Punjab. The enthusiasm among party workers and the increasing trust of the people indicate that BJP is well-positioned to play a major role in the state’s future political landscape.”
She added that the party remains committed to building a prosperous, progressive, and development-oriented Punjab.
