On the occasion of World Environment Day, prominent social worker and BJP leader Abha Bansal participated in a tree plantation drive and planted saplings to promote environmental conservation and sustainable living.
Speaking on the occasion, Abha Bansal emphasized the importance of protecting nature and encouraged citizens to actively contribute towards a cleaner and greener environment. She stated that planting trees is one of the simplest yet most effective ways to combat pollution and ensure a healthy future for coming generations.
She also urged residents to take responsibility for nurturing the planted saplings and adopt eco-friendly practices in their daily lives. The plantation drive was conducted with the aim of spreading awareness about environmental protection and inspiring community participation in creating a greener Mohali.
