Municipal Councillor from Ward No. 5, Arvinder Kaur, recently met newly appointed Deputy Mayor Harpal Singh Channa and extended her heartfelt congratulations on taking charge of his new responsibilities.
During the meeting, Kaur conveyed her best wishes for a successful and impactful tenure and expressed confidence that Mohali would witness faster civic development and improved public services under Channa’s leadership. She said his experience, dedication to public service and commitment to community welfare would help address key urban challenges and strengthen the city’s infrastructure.
The councillor noted that residents have high expectations from the new Deputy Mayor and hoped that his tenure would focus on resolving civic issues, upgrading basic amenities and ensuring better delivery of municipal services. She added that initiatives aimed at improving roads, sanitation, public facilities and overall urban development would greatly benefit the people of Mohali.
