A Sweet Cold Water Chhabil was organised with great devotion and enthusiasm at Shri Radha Krishna Mandir and Dharamshala, Phase 2, Mohali, on the auspicious occasion of Ekadashi.
The Chhabil commenced at 10:30 am and witnessed active participation from members of the temple committee, devotees, local residents and volunteers. Sweet and chilled water was served to passers-by and visitors, providing much-needed relief from the summer heat. A large number of people availed themselves of the refreshment service and appreciated the noble initiative.
Speaking on the occasion, Mandir Sabha President Atul Sharma said that Ekadashi is not only a day of worship and spiritual observance but also an opportunity to promote the values of service, charity and compassion. He said that organising a Chhabil on such sacred occasions reflects the spirit of selfless service and strengthens social harmony within the community.
The temple premises echoed with devotional fervour as devotees offered prayers and sought the blessings of Lord Radha Krishna for peace, prosperity and the well-being of all. The event concluded with devotees expressing gratitude to the organisers and volunteers for their dedicated service.
A large number of devotees, dignitaries and local residents were present on the occasion, making the event a memorable and spiritually enriching experience.
