The new academic session at Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology, Phase 2, commenced with enthusiasm and spiritual fervour with the organisation of a Sukhmani Sahib Path and Bhog on the campus.
Students, faculty members and staff participated in the religious ceremony and offered Ardas for the success of the new academic session and the well-being and bright future of the students. Karah Prasad was distributed among the attendees, while the campus was decorated with flowers and lights.
Several activities were also organised to make the beginning of the session memorable, including a ‘Welcome Cum Hunt’ game, cultural programme, Planter Distribution drive and an Ice-Breaker session for freshers. The plantation activity encouraged students to promote environmental conservation and greenery.
Gian Jyoti Group Chairman J.S. Bedi congratulated the students and staff and said that a new academic session brings fresh enthusiasm and new goals. He expressed hope that students would progress confidently and bring laurels to the institution.
Institute Director Dr. Aneet Bedi said the institution focuses not only on academic excellence but also on developing strong moral values and well-rounded personalities among students.
The programme concluded with the distribution of Karah Prasad, followed by Langar for all those present.
