Mohali :
Water supply in several areas of Mohali will be affected on September 30 and October 1 due to a 48-hour shutdown for replacement of the existing 1200-mm PSC pipeline with an MS pipeline at Village Jhungian and Jandpur.
As per the public notice issued by the Water Supply & Sanitation Department, morning supply will remain normal, afternoon supply will be suspended, and evening supply will be available at low pressure on both days.
The affected areas include Phases 3, 4, 5, 7 and 8, Sectors 70-71, Village Matour, Shahi Majra and Industrial Area Phases 1 to 5.
Residents have been requested to store adequate water and cooperate with the department during the work.
