Jonjua Overseas Limited Enters Strategic MoU with UAE-Based Catobo LLP to Drive Aviation Infrastructure Development

Mohali :

Mohali-based Jonjua Overseas Limited has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Catobo LLP, a UAE-headquartered engineering and technical solutions group, to explore and develop opportunities in India’s rapidly evolving aviation infrastructure sector.

The collaboration will particularly focus on the development of helipads, heliports, vertiports and associated aviation infrastructure, with an emphasis on innovative engineering solutions and the emerging Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) segment.

According to Major Harjinder Singh Jonjua (Retd.), Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Jonjua Overseas Limited Catobo LLP brings specialised expertise in helipad and vertiport design and construction, airfield lighting and aircraft warning-light systems.

The partnership is expected to combine Catobo’s international engineering and design capabilities with Jonjua Overseas Limited’s development initiatives and sectoral plans in the heliport space.

A key area of potential cooperation will be the exploration of aviation infrastructure projects in border and hilly states of India, where heliports and related facilities could play an important role in strengthening connectivity and supporting access to difficult and geographically challenging regions.

The proposed partnership is also aimed at promoting innovation, engineering excellence and modern aviation infrastructure in the VTOL ecosystem. Both organisations intend to explore opportunities that can contribute to the development of next-generation aviation facilities in India.

With the VTOL and urban air mobility ecosystem attracting increasing attention globally, the MoU is expected to provide both organisations with a platform to identify and pursue opportunities in this emerging sector.

Jonjua Overseas Limited has informed BSE Limited about the signing of the MoU pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
