MLA Kulwant Singh held a large interactive meeting with councillors, former councillors, and party functionaries attending in significant numbers.
During the session, a detailed review of development worksh representatives of various Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) to discuss development issues and future plans for Mohali. The meeting witnessed participation across party lines, wit carried out over the past four years under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann was presented. RWA representatives appreciated the government’s efforts and thanked the Chief Minister for initiating key development projects in the city.
MLA Kulwant Singh engaged in discussions on various civic issues affecting residents, including electricity supply, water availability, and road repairs. RWA members urged the MLA to ensure prompt resolution of these concerns and expressed hope for swift action.
Responding to the demands, Kulwant Singh assured that he is actively coordinating with the Municipal Corporation and local administration to address the issues at the earliest. He emphasized that the government is committed to fulfilling the basic needs of citizens and is continuously working to improve civic infrastructure and living standards in Mohali.
The MLA also highlighted ongoing and upcoming development projects aimed at transforming Mohali into a modern and well-developed city. He stated that collective efforts and regular dialogue with residents are essential to ensure effective governance and public satisfaction.
Additionally, Kulwant Singh spoke about the Chief Minister’s pilgrimage initiative, under which senior citizens are being facilitated to visit major religious sites. He announced that buses will be arranged from each booth in the constituency, enabling devotees to visit places such as Shri Darbar Sahib, Durgiana Mandir, Balmiki Temple, Jallianwala Bagh, and Wagah Border.
The meeting concluded on a positive note, with residents appreciating the MLA’s proactive approach and commitment to addressing public concerns.
