19th Bus of Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Scheme Flagged Off from

Mohali :

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Aam Aadmi Party government’s Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana continues to gain momentum, with the 19th bus of pilgrims flagged off from Mohali.
The bus was sent off under the supervision of MLA Kulwant Singh and Halqa Coordinator Phoolraj Singh, a state awardee, with Taranjit Singh and other local leaders also present on the occasion.
Speaking to the media, Phoolraj Singh said that under the scheme, senior citizens of Punjab are being taken on pilgrimage visits to major religious and historical sites including the Golden Temple, Durgiana Temple, Ram Tirath Valmiki Temple, Wagah Border, and Jallianwala Bagh.
He said that devotees travel with deep faith and devotion, and no incidents of indiscipline or disturbance have been reported during the journeys. He also rejected allegations made by opposition parties, accusing them of misleading people by spreading false claims about the scheme.
Phoolraj Singh further added that he himself recently travelled under the scheme with his family to Sri Amritsar Sahib and described the experience as peaceful and spiritually fulfilling.
He said more buses will be dispatched in the coming days as registrations continue to increase. The government, he added, is ensuring that no eligible devotee is left out and all necessary arrangements are being made for a smooth and comfortable pilgrimage experience.
Several local leaders including Captain Karnail Singh, Ranjit Singh Saini, Harpal Singh, Swaran Lata, and Sonia were also present during the flag-off ceremony.
