Mohali :

Under the ongoing campaign “Har Shukkarvaar, Dengue Te Vaar,” health teams of the District Health Department conducted container surveys across high-risk and other areas of the district to prevent the spread of dengue.
Civil Surgeon Dr. Sangeeta Jain led the district-level inspection drive in village Barhmajra near Mohali, where she checked water containers, coolers, and other potential mosquito breeding sites in households. She also held discussions with members of the Village Health and Sanitation Committee, urging their active participation in the dengue prevention campaign.
Dr. Jain stressed the importance of public cooperation in eliminating stagnant water to prevent mosquito breeding, stating that community involvement is key to making villages dengue-free.
