Chandigarh : An official spokesperson of the Punjab State Election Commission said that a total nominations withdrawal by candidates for Sarpanches are 20,147, and total nominations withdrawals by candidates for Panches are 31381 as of 07 October 2024 for Gram Panchayat Elections.
He further informed that the total nominations after withdrawal for Sarpanches are 25588 and total nominations after withdrawal for Panches are 80598 as per the report from Deputy Commissioners-cum-District Election Officers.
