Minerva Academy Football Club delivered a dominant performance in their second away match of the AIFF Elite Youth League (U-18), thrashing Himachal FC 5–0 and showcasing their attacking prowess and tactical discipline.
The first half saw Minerva control possession and create multiple chances, though the score remained goalless at the break. The deadlock was broken in the 56th minute when Lunkim’s brilliant solo run ended with a composed finish. Shortly after, Azlansha doubled the lead with a powerful strike, putting Minerva firmly in control.
Niranjoy extended the advantage in the 85th minute, followed by Lunkim completing his brace in the 90th. The rout was sealed deep into stoppage time when Niranjoy scored his second, handing Minerva a comprehensive 5–0 victory.
Defensively solid throughout, Minerva kept a clean sheet while maintaining relentless attacking pressure. The win underlined the team’s depth, unity, and tactical maturity, sending a clear message across the league about their intent and ambition.
