Mohali :
Strengthening social and religious infrastructure in Village Mohali, Mayor Amarjit Singh Jeeti Sidhu today laid the foundation stone for the construction of the first floor of the village Dharamshala. The project, approved with a budget of ₹50 lakh, is expected to become a major facility for both the village and Mohali city, especially benefiting families who cannot afford events at costly marriage palaces.
The Mayor highlighted that the construction work will be executed in a planned manner under expert guidance and will serve as a lasting landmark for the community. He appreciated the continuous efforts of Councillors Ravinder Singh and Harvinder Kaur, crediting them for understanding and addressing the people’s needs.
Mayor’s Stand on Ward Delimitation
Speaking on ward delimitation, Mayor Jeeti Sidhu criticized the government for hasty steps that may not reflect accurate population data. He emphasized that any rushed decisions could undermine democratic interests and stated that the matter could be pursued legally if necessary.
