Human Intelligence Key to Ethical AI Growth, Say Experts at CMA Session

The Chandigarh Management Association (CMA) organised an insightful session on the theme “Beyond Artificial Intelligence: Why Human Intelligence Still Matters” at Hotel Mountview, bringing together industry leaders, entrepreneurs, academicians and management professionals.
The programme was held under the leadership of CMA President Abhishek Gupta and General Secretary Dr. Navjot Kaur and witnessed enthusiastic participation from members of the corporate and academic community.
The session featured prominent speakers Saurabh Agrawal, former TCS Startup Mentor and Member of AIMA National Council, and Dr. Sanjeev P. Sahni, globally acclaimed Professor of Eminence and noted behavioural scientist.
Speaking during the session, Saurabh Agrawal explained the increasing influence of Artificial Intelligence across industries while stressing the need to keep human values and ethics at the centre of technological progress.
Dr. Sanjeev P. Sahni highlighted that empathy, compassion, ethics and emotional intelligence are uniquely human qualities that cannot be artificially created unless deeply practised and internalised.
The programme commenced with the presentation of the CMA Report by Dr. Navjot Kaur, who outlined the initiatives and achievements undertaken by the Executive Committee during its tenure.
Chief Guest Manish Tewari, Member of Parliament from Chandigarh, felicitated the speakers and delivered an insightful address on Artificial Intelligence, leadership and emerging global trends.
In his concluding remarks, Abhishek Gupta thanked the Chief Guest, speakers, members and guests for making the association’s flagship event a success. He also acknowledged the efforts of Executive Committee members and appreciated the contributions of Dr. Navjot Kaur, Er. Sukhwinder S. Bhatia, Jagmohan Bhogal, Manoj Kumar of Offshore IT Solutions, Abhinav Malhotra and Aryan Anand for their support in organising the programme.
Gupta also expressed gratitude to CMA Patron Deepak Dhingra and Advisor Gursimran Singh Oberoi, along with former presidents and senior members of the association, for their continued guidance and encouragement.
The event concluded with CMA reaffirming its commitment to strengthening professional collaboration, increasing member engagement and promoting meaningful dialogue within the management fraternity. The association also expressed confidence that the incoming Executive Committee would continue taking CMA to greater heights.
Reiterating its long-standing vision, CMA concluded the event with its motto — “Together We Can.”
