MLA Kulwant Singh Flags Off 3 More Pilgrimage Buses for Amritsar

Three more buses carrying senior citizens were flagged off for Sri Amritsar Sahib today from different parts of the Mohali Assembly constituency under the Punjab Government’s Chief Minister’s Pilgrimage Scheme
MLA Kulwant Singh flagged off the buses, saying the initiative reflects the state government’s commitment to respecting the religious sentiments of senior citizens. Constituency Coordinator Phoolraj Singh was also present on the occasion.
Speaking to reporters, Kulwant Singh said the scheme, launched under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, is aimed at enabling elderly citizens to undertake pilgrimages with dignity and ease. He said the positive response and blessings received from devotees encourage the government to continue serving the people.
The MLA said the pilgrims would visit Sri Harmandir Sahib, Sri Durgiana Temple, Ram Tirath Valmiki Temple, Jallianwala Bagh and the Wagah Border during the tour.
The 71st bus was flagged off from Landran under the leadership of Councillor Ramandeep Kaur, the 72nd bus from Sector 91 by MLA Kulwant Singh, and the 73rd bus from Aerocity under the leadership of AAP leader Kamaljit Singh. Several local leaders and party workers were present during the flag-off ceremonies.
