
Chandigarh :
The Chandigarh Management Association (CMA) and Desh Bhagat University (DBU) on Wednesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote stronger industry-academia collaboration in line with the National Education Policy (NEP).
The MoU was signed at the university’s Chandigarh office in Sector 8 by DBU Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh and CMA President Abhishek Gupta.
Under the partnership, both institutions will work together on industry interactions, expert lectures, internships, faculty development programmes, research collaborations and other initiatives aimed at enhancing students’ industry readiness and academic excellence.
The signing ceremony was attended by CMA General Secretary-cum-CEO Dr. Navjot Kaur, Vice President Dr. Jitender Pal Singh, Joint Secretary Sardar Sukhwinder Singh Bhatia, Immediate Past President Sardar Sukhwinder Singh, DBU Pro Chancellor Dr. Tejinder Kaur and CEO Dr. Tulika.
CMA said this is its second academic MoU under the leadership of President Abhishek Gupta and General Secretary Dr. Navjot Kaur, following its collaboration with Lamrin Tech Skills University. The association said the partnership reflects its commitment to strengthening industry-academia ties and supporting the objectives of the National Education Policy.
