Mohali :
Voter Camps-1 and 2 were organised at Shaheed Major Harminder Pal Singh Government College, Mohali, on September 8 and 9, in accordance with Election Commission of India directions and preparations for the Punjab Vidhan Sabha Elections-2027.
Held under the guidance of Principal Mrs. Jaspreet Bains and led by SVEEP Nodal Officer Professor Simarpreet Kaur, the camps aimed to encourage students aged 18 and above to register as voters and understand the importance of their electoral rights.
Students were briefed about the voter registration process and urged to participate actively and responsibly in the democratic process. Faculty members and other staff were present during the camps.
The programme concluded with an appeal to eligible students to register as voters and exercise their franchise responsibly.
