A stabbing incident was reported in Maloya, leading to the registration of a criminal case against two individuals. The case was filed at the Maloya Police Station based on a complaint by Sonu Yadav, a resident of House No. 343, EWS Colony.
According to the complaint, the incident occurred on June 8, 2025, near House No. 1 in the EWS Colony area, where the accused — identified as Anand alias Nakhad and Pawan — allegedly assaulted and stabbed Sonu Yadav following a confrontation.
The victim sustained injuries and was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Sector 32 (GMCH-32), Chandigarh, where he is currently undergoing treatment.
The police have registered FIR No. 68 under Sections 115(2), 126(2), 351(2), and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) 2023. An investigation is underway, and efforts are ongoing to locate and apprehend the accused individuals involved in the assault.
