On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the national song “Vande Mataram”, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) organized grand celebrations across the country. Following directives from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), all CISF units participated in a collective singing of “Vande Mataram” at 10 AM. Over 200 personnel actively took part in the ceremony at the CISF Headquarters in New Delhi.
CISF units across India ensured maximum public participation by organizing events in major cities as well as remote areas, connecting citizens with national unity and cultural pride.
All units also participated in the digital campaign “Vande Mataram Karaoke”, recording and uploading the full version of the national song. Singing competitions were conducted at several locations to further engage the community.
Additionally, CISF personnel across all units actively joined the live broadcast of the Prime Minister’s address, and campaign promotion included unveiling banners, hoardings, website creatives, and short films.
CISF has planned further events throughout the year to maintain the momentum of this celebration. The initiative aims to inspire a sense of unity, pride, and patriotism among citizens while emphasizing the enduring significance of the national song.
