MLA Kulwant Singh Holds Lok Milani in Three Mohali Villages

Continuing the Punjab Government’s ‘Lok Milani Program’, Mohali MLA Kulwant Singh interacted with residents of Bathlana, Gudana and Dhelpur villages to hear public grievances and review local development needs.
Addressing gatherings in the three villages, the MLA said the initiative, being conducted under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, aims to strengthen direct communication between the government and the people while ensuring the benefits of welfare schemes reach every household.
Kulwant Singh announced that under the Rangla Punjab Scheme, ₹8 lakh will soon be released for sewage disposal works in Dhelpur, ₹5 lakh for a Scheduled Caste Dharamshala and ₹3 lakh for streetlights. He also said financial assistance has been provided to needy families for the construction of permanent houses.
Highlighting ongoing development works, the MLA said a gym worth ₹5 lakh is being constructed in the village, work on a library is in progress and a playground is being developed under the Chief Minister’s Playground Scheme to encourage youth participation in sports.
Sharing details of projects in Bathlana, Kulwant Singh said ₹3 lakh will be released for the Scheduled Caste Dharamshala, while a boundary wall around the village pond is being constructed at a cost of ₹2 lakh. He added that ₹4 lakh has been provided to two economically weaker families to convert their mud houses into permanent homes.
The MLA said the Punjab Government is fulfilling its promises by implementing welfare schemes and accelerating long-pending development works across the state.
Several Aam Aadmi Party leaders, village representatives and local residents attended the public meetings.
