AAP Gets Boost as 26 Families Join Party

Mohali :

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) received a boost in the Mohali Assembly constituency on Monday as 26 families belonging to the Sigligar community joined the party at a programme held in Sector 79.
The families were inducted into the party in the presence of Mohali MLA Kulwant Singh, under the leadership of Pratap Singh of Jujhar Nagar and Mohali Municipal Corporation Senior Deputy Mayor Rajinder Prasad Sharma
Addressing the gathering, MLA Kulwant Singh said people from different communities and political parties across Punjab are joining the AAP, attributing the trend to the Bhagwant Singh Mann government’s welfare-oriented policies and development initiatives.
He assured members of the Sigligar community that their concerns and development-related issues would be addressed on priority and that the party would ensure they receive due respect and support.
Kulwant Singh said the Punjab Government has fulfilled the commitments made to the people and continues to implement public welfare schemes across the state. He highlighted initiatives such as Mohalla Clinics, 600 units of free electricity, and the Chief Minister Teerth Yatra Scheme as examples of the government’s efforts to improve public services.
Several AAP leaders, including Senior Deputy Mayor Rajinder Prasad Sharma, Kuldeep Singh Samana, and local representatives, along with members of the Sigligar community, attended the induction programme.
