Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology, Phase 2, Mohali, commenced its Orientation Programme 2026 to welcome the new batch of students and familiarise them with the institution’s values, academic environment and opportunities.
The programme began with a traditional prayer, followed by an introduction to the history and legacy of Gian Jyoti. Students were also briefed about the institute’s leadership, support systems and opportunities for academic, professional and personal development.
Addressing the students, J.S. Bedi, Chairman, Gian Jyoti Group of Institutions, encouraged them to make the most of their time at the institute. He stressed the importance of discipline, continuous learning, dedication and making effective use of available opportunities.
The orientation featured sessions on Artificial Intelligence and future-ready skills, learning approaches, life beyond the classroom, student support, career development and placement opportunities. Students were also introduced to the campus career ecosystem and success stories of alumni.
Dr. Aneit Bedi, Director, Gian Jyoti, said orientation marks the beginning of a student’s journey at the institution. He encouraged students to recognise their strengths, explore new opportunities and develop into confident and responsible professionals.
He added that further interactive sessions would be organised as part of Orientation Programme 2026 to help students adapt to campus life and begin their academic journey with confidence.
