Initiative by Amay Foundation; Health Camp to Be Held in Sector 70

Mohali:
While the mention of cancer often raises concern among families, timely screening can be one of the most important tools in the fight against the serious disease. With this objective, the Amay Foundation has taken an initiative focused on women’s health.
The foundation, in collaboration with Sohana Hospital, will organise a Special Cancer Screening and Mega Medical Camp on September 6 at the park opposite House No. 190, Sector 70, Mohali. Special cancer screening and healthcare services will be provided for women at the camp.
Abha Bansal, Chairperson of the Amay Foundation, shared details of the camp during a press conference and appealed to women to take time out for their health check-ups and encourage other women to do the same.
Abha Bansal said the objective of the camp is not only to create awareness among women about cancer but also to encourage them to undergo timely health screenings. She said that women often neglect their own health due to family responsibilities. Therefore, it is important for women to undergo regular health check-ups and not ignore any symptoms.
She said that along with special cancer screening for women, the camp will also provide general health check-ups and medical consultations. During the camp, healthcare experts will educate women about cancer prevention, early symptoms and the importance of regular screening.
Abha Bansal said that the Amay Foundation is committed to taking healthcare services and health awareness to as many people as possible. She appealed to women across the city to visit the camp on September 6 and make the most of the healthcare facilities being provided.
