Mohali :
A large free health camp was successfully organised in Phase 3B1, Mohali, providing healthcare services to residents and spreading awareness about preventive health and hygiene.
The camp was held under the leadership of Dr. Sunny Singh Ahluwalia, who said the initiative aimed to ensure accessible healthcare for all sections of society.
A total of 112 patients underwent detailed medical check-ups and received free medicines. Services at the camp included dental care, sugar and blood pressure testing, treatment for joint pain, and specialised women’s health screenings.
During the camp, 127 beneficiaries were also issued health cards under the Punjab government’s health scheme, enabling them to avail free treatment up to ₹10 lakh in government and empanelled private hospitals.
Dr. Ahluwalia said the initiative, in line with the vision of the state government, focuses on ensuring that no one is denied medical treatment due to financial constraints.
He added that such camps help in early diagnosis of diseases and reduce long-term healthcare costs for families. Volunteers, medical staff and local residents were also present and contributed to the success of the event.
