MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa inaugurated development works worth over ₹57 lakh across villages Paragpur, Ibrahimphur and Hansala during a public outreach programme held under a “Lok Milni” initiative.
During his visit, Randhawa interacted with villagers, listened to their grievances and directed concerned officials to ensure timely resolution of issues on the spot.
In Paragpur village, development works related to streets, drains and sewage disposal were inaugurated at a cost of around ₹23 lakh. In Ibrahimphur, completed works worth ₹12 lakh, including internal streets, drainage and a park development project, were dedicated to the public. In Hansala, a shed and other development works at the local Dharamshala were inaugurated at a cost of ₹22 lakh.
Randhawa said the Punjab government, under Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is committed to strengthening basic infrastructure in villages and ensuring better civic amenities for residents. He added that development work is being carried out continuously on the basis of public needs and priorities.
He also thanked villagers for their support, trust and cooperation during the programme.
Sarpanches, panchayat members, local representatives, officials from various departments and a large number of villagers were present on the occasion.
